This event is a great way to enjoy a day of golf while supporting a worthy cause. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Friendly Hands Food Bank, which is a vital resource for people in Northwest Connecticut who are struggling to make ends meet. Our Mission

Founded in 1991 by Maureen "Mo" Hubert to offer food assistance to those in need, the food bank has grown in size to offer food, toiletries and other services over the years.  In addition to food, we offer Thanksgiving baskets, Christmas gifts for children & seniors, back to school supplies and other amenities as they become available to us.

Our Funding

FHFB is funded strictly by the generosity of donors, grants, companies, volunteers and individuals in the community.  We partner with the CT Food Bank and provide nutritious and healthy food options for our clients.  We encourage donations via fundraisers, community collaborations and individual monetary gifts.   We gladly accept donations via all major credit cards, checks and non perishable food items.

Our Board & Volunteers

Our Board of Directors are the heart of the food bank and keep the organization running smoothly. We also rely heavily on our volunteers who help out with all aspects of the operations of the food bank. They truly are the driving force behind everything we have accomplished, we couldn't do what we do without their help.
